'Deologa Pani' Launched

A new film representing the rural landscape was launched under the banner of Krishtipathar recently. Titled 'Deologa Pani', the film's story, screenplay and direction are by Kripal Kalita. The story revolves around a village girl and her struggle against several odds in the backdrop of the devastating floods affecting her entire family. The film's shooting is currently being held in and around Sonari Chapori.

The film stars several new faces like Shivarani Kalita, Anindita Das, Gopamoni Gogoi, Pranjal Gogoi, Partha Pratim, Dhanjit Sarma, Dwipen Chutia, and Sachindra Bhuyan, along with special appearances by Suren Mahanta and Rina Bora. 'Deologa Pani' is produced by Rama Kumar Das and Nayantora Dutta, while Sabita Devi is the executive producer.
