Deplorable condition of Chaboti Lilabari road irks people

Lakhimpur, April 26: The poor condition of Chaboti Lilabari road leading to North Lakhimpur Civil Hospital is causing inconvenience to people, especially patients. The patients and their attendants suffer while travelling through the bumpy road and ambulance need around 15 minutes to cover a short distance of 6 km from North Lakhimpur town. In addition, frequent minor accidents have taken place due to the many potholes on the road. People have been complaining about the deplorable condition of the road since the last 6-7 years but there has allegedly been no response from the government department concerned or even the local MLA.
