Deploy Indian Army to protect forest resources: AASUCC

From a Correspondent
Joysagar, Feb 3:  “We cannot survive without our ture. Assam is specially gifted by God and we have rich forest resources. One-horned rhinoceros and many unique animals are our source of pride. But the government machinery and forest department are totally unsuccessful to protect our forest and wildlife resources. Therefore, the government should hand over all the security liabilities to the Indian Army,” stated the State secretary of All Assam Surrendered ULFA Co-ordition Committee in a press release.  AASUCC expressed concern over the open smuggling the forest resources like sand, stones and coal in front of the eyes of the forests guards and officials. AASUCC also criticized the State Forest Minister.
