Deputy Commissioner Keerthi Jalli reviews status of health programmes

Hailakandi: Deputy Commissioner Keerthi Jalli reviewed the status of several ongoing health schemes. Chairing the meeting of District Health Society with Joint Director of Health Services, Superintendent, SK Roy Civil Hospital, all in-charge medical officers of health institutions, DPM, DPMU, BPMU and other vertical health officials at GNM Training Centre here on Wednesday, DC reviewed all the programmes and activities through PPT.

Jalli reviewed the performance of Mobile Medical Unit, 104 Sanjeevani services, RNTCP, NVBDCP, NPCB, NCD, Mental Health, Ayushman Bharat, ANC, immunization, family planning programmes, RBSK etc. Expressing her satisfaction over the performance of the Health department, Jalli asked the officials not to be complacent and to put in concerted efforts to make further improvements on the health parameters. She cautioned those not performing well to pull up their socks or perish.
