Deputy Director of School Education of Tirap district visits cyclone-hit schools in State

ITANAGAR: Tirap district Deputy Director of School Education (DDSE) Pubi Lombi on Tuesday visited two schools of the district which were ravaged by cyclonic storm recently.

The cyclonic storm had completely damaged two classrooms at Government Primary School Raho under Lazu circle in the district while roof and furniture of four classrooms at Government Secondary School, Upper Kolam, an official communiqué informed here on Wednesday. While noting the damaged building and school articles, the DDSE assured the headmasters and teachers in-charges to initiate the matter with the deputy commissioner of the district and the state government for early restoration and repair works of the damaged buildings, the communiqué added.
