Destination Ledum office inaugurated by Dibo Saroh

ITANAGAR: The office of the Destination Ledum was inaugurated at Ledum village by Ledum HGB Dibo Saroh in a function on Monday. The office will serve as a gateway for tourists to explore the picturesque and unexplored landscape of Ledum and Legong Banggo as a whole.

It will also showcase the rich, exotic tribal culture and tradition of the region.

The tour interactive office is pioneered by Tani Siram and Joshua Padung, budding and promising tour enthusiasts from Ledum village.

Destination Ledum is a non-profit organization headed by John Pada, a native of Ledum presently working as SP in Kamle. Destination Ledum is working for the promotion of tourism in Ledum area and gives a platform to the youths for their livelihood. It also works on conservation of biodiversity, flora and fauna to balance the ecology and link it with tourism. The organization also encourages promotion of local handloom and handicrafts.

Destination Ledum Head John Pada appealed to each and every one to support the endeavour by welcoming and assisting tourists so that in the years to come Legong Banggo can be a highly sought after tourist destination.

He also lauded Tani Siram and his team for bringing out the region in the tourism map of Arunachal Pradesh.

Ledum village was declared as the cleanest village of East Siang District. The Department of Tourism, East Siang District has also adopted it as a model/heritage village during the National Tourism Day celebration this year.
