Development of regiol languages underscored

TANGLA, Feb 12: The annual prize day function of Dr BR Ambedkar Hindi ME School was celebrated in the school premises at Tangla on Sunday. The chief guest of the function was Kameswar Boro, president of Bodo Sahitya Sabha.  The programme started with lighting of the iugural lamp. Speaking on the occasion, Kameswar Boro said, “Development of every regiol language is necessary for the uplift of society.”

Attending the programme, Saiful Haque, AASU district secretary, exhorted the government to provincialize vercular-medium schools. Dr. BR Ambedkar Hindi ME School is the only Hindi medium ME school in Udalguri district which was established way back in 1985 and is still awaiting provincialization. Other distinguished guests included Ashim Roy, Balaram Saha and Hari Ram Patowary  day function of Dr BR Ambedkar Hindi ME School at Tangla.
