Development to be Main Issue for NC Hills Autonomous Council Election: Ranjit Dass

Haflong: State BJP president Ranjit Dass affirmed that development would be the main issue for the NC Hills Autonomous Council election. He also claimed that the BJP would secure 28 out of 28 seats in the NC Hills Autonomous Council election. Dass was here at Nablaidisa in Dima Hasao to attend the organizational meeting of four constituencies - Wajao, Hajadisa, Semkhor and Diger - held at Nablaidisa, 25 km from Maibang on Saturday. The meeting was attended by MLA BB Hagjer, Ranu Langthasa, NCHAC chairperson, NCHAC CEM Debolal Gorlosa, Dima Hasao BJP president Nipolal Hojai and other leaders.

Addressing the meeting, Dass explained the aims and objective of the BJP government and also its commitment for the betterment of the people. Praising the developmental activities of the present BJP-led Central and State governments and also the NCHAC, Dass said the people of Dima Hasao must have realized the aims of the of BJP government in regard to development after seeing the development activities of the BJP-led NCHAC.

He also appealed to the people to extend their active support to the BJP in the NCHAC election so that the BJP could serve the people of Dima Hasao in a better way. Earlier, CEM Golosa inaugurated the Airtel mobile tower at Drang Bathari village which would provide mobile connectivity in the entire Langting Dibu area of Dima Hasao. This had been a long-pending demand of the people of the area. State president Ranjit Das also inaugurated the gravity water supply at Nablaidisa village while would provide water supply to a large population of the area.
