DHSK College organizes awareness camp in adopted villag

Dibrugarh, May 25 : Dibrugarh Hanumanbux Surajmal Kanoi College (DHSK College) has adopted a village - Saraihabi Mising Gaon in Dibrugarh district, first of its kind, in order to carry forward the village towards its all-round development in general and education, health, communication, transportation in particular with the help of the college. As a part of this initiative, the IQAC of DHSK College along with the Anthropology Department organized a health awareness camp in the adopted village recently.

Principal of the college, Dr Sasi Kanta Saikia , during his deliberation at the awareness camp called upon the people to avail the opportunity as rendered by the faculty members of the college and resource persons from Assam Medical College and Hospital for enhancing awareness on various issues of day-to-day life.

Dr yan Kakoti, Dr Abhishek Chakraborty, Dr Animesh Sarkar of Assam Medical College and Hospital attended the camp as resource persons. A large number of villagers came forward for their health check-up.

Dr Priyadeb Goswami, Dr Marami Talukdar, Dr Nitumoni Saikia, Dr Sunda Sah and Dr Vaskar Das, besides Principal and other teachers of the Sarihabi Mising Gaon High School attended the awareness camp.
