Sarma was awarded particularly for his creative works of audio-visual presentation on the history and heritage of Dhubri district last year, which was highly acclaimed in all circles.
Talking to The Sentinel, Sarma said that it was a satisfying moment for him as the award had recognized his works. “To me work is worship. This award will go a long away in inspiring me to do more creative works with sincerity and dedication. However, Dhubri district will always remain special to my heart as working here was a big challenge to me, but now I am experiencing a pleasant moment,” Sarma added.
