Dibrugarh, April 9: The meeting of the Dibrugarh District Development Committee for the current month was held at the DC office under the aegis of DC Laya Madduri recently. The meeting was used as a platform to discuss at length with respect to the implementation of the different developmental policies of the various government departments of the districts. In the meeting that was also graced by District Development Commissioner, Jadhav Saikia, a wide gamut of topics were covered including the policies of PWD (roads), PWD (building), Agricultural Department and Health Department. Moreover, the meeting also witnessed detailed discussions regarding the various measures needed to be undertaken in order to transform Dibrugarh into a defecation-free district.
