Dibrugarh fight back

GUWAHATI, May 7: Dibrugarh fought back strongly in the quarter fils of the Senior Nuruddin Inter District Cricket tourment (elite group) today at the Barsapara cricket stadium. Dibrugarh,invited to bat, were bowled out 168 in the first innings. Jyotiraditya Chetia (37) and Prasanta Sonowal (36) were the top scorers for Dibrugarh. Dhrubajyoti Das, the most successful bowler of Goalpara in the first innings, picked up 4 wickets for 65 runs. Jyoti Medhi (3/24) also came out with nice spell in the first innings. However Dibrugarh fought back strongly in the game and forced Goalpara to finish the first day at 4/29 in their first innings.
