Dibrugarh judokas shine in Inter District Judo Championship

DIBRUGARH,April 13 : The Judokas of Dibrugarh District Judo team had outshined the other Judo players of Kokrajhar, gaon, Kamrup, Barpeta , Karbi Anglong , Guwahati and Tinsukia in All Assam Inter District Judo Championship, held at Tinsukia , by lifting the championship trophy in the categories of sub-junior, Junior and youth , for successive eight years .The Karbi Anglong  team won the champion trophy  in senior category . As both Dibrugarh and Karbi Anglong districts’ Judo Team clinched the equal points- 101 in main events, both the team were adjudged as joint champions. The championship, organized by Tinsukia District Judo Association and under supervision of All Assam Judo Association, concluded at Tinsukia . Those who represented Dibrugarh District Judo Team were Chanyakya Gogoi, Chayan Deep Gogoi, Dibya Jyoti Sinha, Githartha Dutta, Sarafbaz Parvez  Haque, Bikash Gogoi Riya Duwara, Aditi Khati, Boni Sonowl, Rituraj Bordoloi, Stuti  Khicha, Mili Barman, Tironga Gogoi, Bijit Sonowal.
