Discussion on India's Act East Policy

DIBRUGARH, JAN 6: Policy Group for People’s Rights (PGPR), a leading NGO of Upper Assam, is holding its second PGPR ADDA on January 10 to discuss how India’s Act East Policy affects Assam in general and Dibrugarh in particular. The lead panelists will be Ambassador Jaimini Bhagawati, former Indian High Commissioner to the UK and the European Union and Ambassador Bhaskar K Mitra, former Indian ambassador to Myanmar together with former President, Axam Xahitya Xabha, Dr gen Saikia, and Vice Chancellor, Dibrugarh University, Prof. Alak Kumar Buragohain. The event will take place in the Conference Room, Hotel Tea County, Convoy Road, opposite Saharia Hall.
