Distinguished persolities of Amguri felicitated

GAURISAGAR, APRIL 24: Following the tradition of Axom Xahitya Xabha, Amguri Xakha Xahitya Xabha organized a special felicitation programme on the 1st day of the Assamese Bohag month. Three distinguish persons of Amguri - mely Prodip Dutta, noted jourlist and former president, Sivasagar District Jourlist Association, educationist and writer Kalyani Mahanta and Bikul Saikia, former principal of Amguri Aauniati Hem Chandra Dev High School - were felicitated with a traditiol gamusa and a citation in their respective residences by members of the Amguri Xakha Xahitya Xabha. The recepients lauded the initiative of the Xabha. The programme was anchored by Pranjal Protim Borah, secretary, Amguri Xakha Xahitya Xabha.
