District Session Judge visits Lakhipur Judicial Court

SILCHAR, March 18: The District Session Judge of Cachar, Mr. Kamalendu Choudhury, along with Additiol Session Judge, T K Bhattacharjee, and Chief Judicial Magistrate, N Talukdar, visited the office building of Judicial Court at Lakhipur under construction on Tuesday. They expressed their satisfaction at the progress of work which is expected to be completed within a short time. The Judicial Court has been the long felt demand of the people of the sub-division who have otherwise to travel all the way to Silchar for their legal matters.

  With the completion of the new building, the sub-divisiol Judicial Magistrate Court and Munseff Court would start functioning and cover the entire sub-division and its populace for their legal matters. It will no more be a time consuming and expensive journey to Silchar. On the occasion were also present SDO (Civil) T T Deulugopa, SDPO Anjan Pandit, Bhupen Bora o/c Lakhipur Police Station and advocate L Mansan Singha Lakhipur Notary Club.
