District Wushu Championship kicks off

Boko, April 6: The 11th Kamrup (R) District Wushu Championship was iugurated by Dr. Suvash Basumatary, Sports Authority of India, Guwahati at Boko. More than 80 participants are participating in the competition.
Mr. Suvash Gayari, district chief instructor told on the occasion, “Kamrup (R) district players perform every year in tiol and intertiol level, especially from Boko area. Though there is no indoor stadium or other facilities for the young talent. He also request through this championship to provide stadium and other required modern facilities to this young talents so they can perform well in tiol and Intertiol level. By which some of them can arrange their employment.”
The competition is collaborated with Silver Jubilee celebration and 12th Biennial Conference of All Bodo Students’ Union, South Kamrup district. Which is also started from today.
