DULIAJAN, April 2: Pollution in land, water and air cannot be controlled by implementation laws. To control such pollution we will have to do what is required so that in future we can live in a healthy and pollution-free environment,” said Mi Devi, Associate Professor of Chemistry, Duliajan College, at the open meeting held on Wednesday under the aegis of Duliajan Mahavidyalaya Vigyan Parishad (DMVP) on the topic ‘Students’ activities on removing pollution’ at Duliajan College.
Before the meeting, Professor Suresh Borah, retired Head of the Department of Mathematics and Hadand Dutta, former Head of the Department of Physics, Duliajan College, were felicitated by members of DMVP. Various competitions like essay writing, story writing were also held among the Science stream students of Duliajan College. The entire meeting was initiated by Dr Jitumoni Borah, Associate Professor of the Department of Chemistry,Duliajan College, and it was chaired by Dr Beauty Mahanta, president of DMVP.
