Domestic maid rescued

GAON, April 26:  With the aid of local people of Kasalukhuwa area, gaon police recovered a 7-year old girl who was working as a domestic maid in a household on Saturday night. The girl was allegedly kept locked in a room by her employer, Mira Das who is a government employee in Bikandi block. When neighbours heard her cries, they broke the back door and rescued the girl. She was then handed over to the police.
