Double crown for Arghya, Ritupar

GUWAHATI, June  24: Arghya Das of West Bengal and Ritupar Choudhury of Odisha won double crown in the AITA Championship Series Tennis Tourment which concluded today at the All Assam Tennis Association Complex  today.It was the day of upsets as all top seeded lost their fil today. Arghya, who won crown in doubles event yesterday pairing with Akshat Agarwal, bagged boys U-18 singles title too today.
Fil results: Boys U-16 singles; Kavan Somu Kumar (KA) def Sheikh MD Iftikhar  4-1 (30-0) concede. Boys U-18 singles: Arghya Das (WB) def Mingki Talom (AR)- 6-4, 7-5. Girls U-16 :  Ritupar Choudhury (ODR) def Lenien Jamir (ASM) 6-2, 6-0. Girls U-18 singles: Ritupar Choudhury (ODR) def Lenien Jamir (ASM) 7-5, 6-2.
