DPCB to observe Environment Day

DIBRUGARH, May 30: The World Environment Day is slated to be observed, here on June 5, under the initiative of the District Pollution Control Board. An art competition, between the students of Class 1 to 10th standard is also scheduled to be organized on the occasion at the auditorium hall of Graham Bazaar Girls’ Higher Secondary School from 10 am. At the same venue, a quiz competition would also be held, among the students of class VIII to class X. Moreover, that day from 9 am to 2 pm, at the Auto Pollution Testing Centre, which is situated opposite to Dibrugarh Police Reserve, a pollution control test would be conducted on motor vehicle, the authorities of DPCB in a press communiqué stated.
