ZIRO, July 27: The International Chamber for Service Industry (ICSI) has organised a career orientation and motivational talk for empowering youths at the picturesque Ziro Valley on Friday. The organisation has been organizing similar programmes at various places across the State.

The programme was organized in collaboration with the Deputy Director of School Education, Ziro, at Mihin Bagang Government Secondary School, Hapoli. Addressing the students of the Ziro Valley, Dr Gulshan Sharma, Director General, ICSI through a Powerpoint presentation stressed on building up positive attitude and self-confidence besides suggesting them to find their hidden talents and skill.

Dr. Sharma said that lack of proper boundary walls shall not be the excuse for the students fleeing from class and reason for low pass percentage in CBSE Exam in this year. A school needs conducive and pleasant atmosphere which is to be created by the teacher and authority to attract students, he viewed.

Education Minister Honchun Ngandam advised the students to give due importance on their own tradition, culture and language. Else one’s identity will be lost, he state while encouraging the students to avail of the Chief Minister Vidhya Scheme, a government’s flagship programme. He also asked the school authority to extend the necessary help to students in getting such benefits.

He further informed the gathering that textbooks will soon reach respective districts.

Nending Chatung, ADC Ziro while terming “the teacher, the student and the parents as the three pillars”, he asked them to cooperate with each other in building up a congenial atmosphere in schools.

Earlier highlighting on the objective of programme, Hibu Tama, DDSE Ziro suggested that the students and the teachers should get the maximum benefits from the career Orientation and motivational talks organized by the ICSI.
