Based on specific inputs, a dreaded arms manufacturer and supplier was nabbed from Salmara OP under Abhayapuri PS by a team led by DSP Punamjit Nath and SI Latuk Das of Kokrajhar Police. The apprehended has been identified as Sumil Sangma (55) of Saupara, Salmara. Two handmade guns, arms manufacturing tools and other items were recovered from his house.
