The centre will provide information to the Government of India about the details of the damage done to agricultural land by this insect and the symptoms of the disease caused by the insect on crops.

Then the government will provide preventive measures to the department so that the insect cannot further destroy crops. Farmers have been suffering due to the damage caused to crops this season by the Brown Planthopper.
