Drug peddler arrested

JOYSAGAR, April 27: In a sudden operation conducted by Nazira Police last night, four suspected drug peddlers were arrested. As per reports, following public complaint, Nazira Police led by the SDPO, Nazira raided several places of suspicion and apprehend four drug peddlers. The accused were identified as Ujjawal Sing, Gobind Nath, Pinku Das and Sum Sum Das of upper Nazira and Bahgarh area under Nazira Police Station of Sivasagar district. A good quantity of medical syringes along with some tablets were also recovered from the possession of the accused, sources revealed.
