Meritorious students and achievers of Dui Community felicitated at Itanagar

ITANAGAR, July 22: Score of meritorious students Dui clan who have excelled in the last CBSE and other entrance examinations, and other achievers, were felicitated with 4th Mallo Tarin Academic Excellence Award during a felicitation programme held at Chandanagar on Sunday.

The awardees were given commendation certificates and cash during the felicitation programme which was organised by the Dui Welfare Society (DWS).

Altogether three class 10th students with more than 70 per cent marks and five class 12th students with more than 75 per cent marks were felicitated during the event.

The society also felicitated two graduates,postgraduates and one student embarking onanother profession.

One Byabang Kaniya Dui was felicitated with excellence award who ranked 8442 in the JEE (main) NIT examination.

All other students received achievers award for scoring above 70 per cent in humanities, science and commerce stream.

DWS president Gemi Tarak Dui in his deliberation lauded the achievers and encouraged them to excel in their respective examinations in future also.

He further appealed the gathered Dui clan to set an example by putting an end to the trend of political backing and donation culture for the youth.
