Dutchman Kila appointed Bengaluru FC's youth coach

Bengaluru, June 13: I-League champions Bengaluru FC appointed former West African Football Association U-19 head coach John Kila as the club's youth head coach on Saturday.

The Dutchman will head Bengaluru's academy and youth teams, according to a release from the club.

Kila has covered coaching assignments in Holland, Japan, New Zealand and most recently in Gha as the head coach of the U-19 team and coorditor of the U-17, U-15 and U-13 teams at the West African Football Academy (WAFA).

“My main objective is to train and coach the youth teams at Bengaluru FC and to develop the skills of these youngsters so that they become professiol0 players capable of playing for the first team. I look forward to giving structure to a development plan for both coaches and youth teams with the experience I have gained over the years,” said Kila in the release. IANS
