E-district project launched in Bhergaon subdivision

TANGLA, March 30:  To facilitate timely, state-of-the-art, hassle-free, transparent and comfortable services to the people of Bhergaon subdivision, the district administration iugurated the e-district project in Bhergaon subdivision on Thursday.

Dithakanda Hazarika, ADC of Udalguri district, while iugurating the e-district project, said that people of the subdivision could now avail government services conveniently through Internet, Common Service Centres (CSCs) and Public Facilitation Centres (PFCs) at DC, SDO and Circle Offices. 

Rituttam Bora, EAC Bhergaon was also present on the occasion. Bora divulged that four e-district projects had been launched in Udalguri district. Deva Pratim Bhuya, District Mager e- district project, Phulsingh Basumatary, District Project Mager and Alaisri Basumatary from Common Service Centre along with all the staff of the subdivisiol office were present in the programme.

The project aims at seamless service delivery of government services to the citizen by enhancing efficiency. It is envisaged that the electronic delivery of citizen centric services will ensure efficiency, transparency and reliability at affordable costs to the citizens.
