Educatiol problems of Karbi Anglong district highlighted

HOWRAGHAT, November 17: The Karbi Anglong District High School Teachers’ Association (KADHSTA) organized a day-long educatiol semir on Thursday at Beloguri Higher Secondary School in association with Diphu and Howraghat zones.

The educatiol semir started with hoisting flag of the KADHSTA by Atul Chandra Bora, president, KADHSTA. Trees were also planted on the occasion and the plantation programme was headed by Biren Bora, president of the School Maging and Development Committee (SMDC), Beloguri Higher Secondary School. A welcome programme was also held under the president ship of Krish Bora, president of High School Teacher Association, Howraghat zone.

All the resource persons, Principals and headmasters who participated from different schools under Howraghat and Diphu zones were felicitated with phulam gamosa. The semir began by lighting of lamp by Tilakanta Phukan, retired Principal and former president of KADHSTA. Bhogeswari Bora, Principal, Diphu B.Ed College, took part as observer of the semir while it was conducted by Bhuban Chandra Dutta, retired Principal and  former president of KADHSTA.  

Parmanda Talukdar, retired headmaster, Bhabesh Rajbangshi, organizing secretary, Assam High School Teachers’ Association and Ranjit Kumar Sen, retired headmaster of Bipani High School, Diphu participated as resource persons. The resource persons highlighted elaborately on the present educatiol problems of Karbi Anglong district and discussed the solutions.
