Educationist Abola Borgohain remembered

Jorhat, April 29: The Jorhat Xahitya Xabha in association with ex-student body of Jorhat Balya Bhawan organized a memorial meet of educationist and founder headmistress of Jorhat Balya bhawan- Abola Borgohain at Radha Kanta Handique auditorium premises here on Friday. Jorhat Xahitya Xabha president Dhiren Gogoi presided over the meeting where many students, teachers along with several dignitaries participated. All the speakers in the meeting remembered the contribution of the eminent educationist to Montessori education in the district and said that she was the path finder of Montessori education in Jorhat. Educationists Aditee Bezbarua, Axom Xahitya Xabha Jorhat district unit president Indrajit Kr Barua, writer Meghalee Barua, Axom Xahitya Xabha former assistant secretary Pratap Barua and Mridul Barua also spoke on the occasion.
