Effigies of PM, CM, Petroleum Minister burnt

Golaghat (Dhekial), June 29: The activists of Chutia Students’ Union of Golaghat on Wednesday burnt the effigies of Prime Minister rendra Modi, Chief Minister Sarbanda Sonowal and Union Petroleum   Minister  Dharmendra Pradhan at Batapoint of Golaghat town in protest against the decision to auction the 12 margilized oil fields.

The president of the organization, Mohen Bora slammed the rendra Modi-led BJP government. He said that before the assembly election this government assured to fulfil the demands of the people but after the election the government forgot all the promises.

The activists of the students’ union shouted slogans against the Central Government and the Sarbanda Sonowal-led State Government. They demanded that the decision should be taken back.
