Eight students from Pathsala bring glory to town

PATHSALA, May 30: Three students of Anundoram Barooah Academy bagged position in the science stream in the HS fil exam. Kul Horo (480) who secured 3rd position, is the son of Mangra Horo and Sulekha Horo of Dhekiajuli under Sonitpur district. Kul  wants to be a software engineer. Ilias Khan Ra (479) bagged the 4th position. He is the son of Bilayet Hussain Khan and Hamida Begum of Hatiza village in Barpeta district. Ilias aim is to be an administrative officer and wants to study in Delhi University. He had also secured 5th position in the HSLC examition from a different institution.

Darsha Talukdar(473) secured 9th position. She is the daughter of Kshitish Chandra Talukdar and Swapali Talukdar of Pathsala. Interestingly, earlier also Darsha secured 9th position in the HSLC examition from the same institution. Darsha wants to be a physician in future. Dr Ranjit Deka, Rector-cum-principal of the institution, expressed happiness at the performances of the students.

 Krish Kanta Handique Junior College established in 2006 boasted of four position holders. Abish Kalita secured 2nd  position by securing 481 marks in science stream. He is the son of Hemsandra Kalita and Dipika Kalita. Abish wants to be a scientist in future. Earlier, he had secured 4th position in HSLC examition from a different school.

Ashim Mazumdar secured 8th position with 475 marks in Science stream. Son of Niranjan Mazumdar and Dalini Das, Ashim Mazumdar’s aim is to be a good teacher. He wants to study degree course with Mathematics as major subject. Megh Goswami bagged 9th position (469) in Arts stream. Daughter of Khagen Goswami and Binita Goswami of Pathsala, Megh will take admission in Delhi University with English as major subject. Himadri Basu bagged the 10th position (468). Daughter of Chandrapani Basu and Kalpani Basu, Himadri wants to study Law. Robindra th Kalita, Principal of the institution, expressed happiness at the performance.

Meanwhile, Bajali College grabbed one position in Science. Indibar Talukdar, son of Chittarantan Talukdar and Mamoni Dutta of Pathsala, secured 5th position in Science stream (578).
