EKSWCO condemns molestation

Itagar, May 24: East Kameng Social Welfare and Cultural Organisation (EKSWCO) has strongly condemned the alleged molestation of a minor which reportedly let her to commit suicide. It is alleged that the minor was molested by her materl uncle one Yuwa Bullet (30) and later the minor allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself on May 19 last. The alleged accused has been reportedly arrested by police and is under judicial remand in the Jollang district jail.

Terming the incident unfortute, EKSWCO in a statement said that incident is highly condemble and the authority should take stern action against the culprit so that such incident should is not repeated. The organisation further expressed its heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family and prayed to the almighty for her eterl peace.
