Election preparedness meeting held in Jorhat

Jorhat, February 2: An election preparedness meeting was held at the Pitambor Deva Goswami auditorium in Jorhat on Tuesday, which were participated by 522 booth level officers, 44 Assistant Electoral Registration officers and circle officers under three assembly constituencies like Jorhat, Teok, and Dergaon. The meeting was presided over by Deputy Commissioner of Jorhat Solanki Vishal Vasant and he spoke on preparedness for the forthcoming assembly election. Fil electors as on 11-01-2016 in the voters’ list in Dergaon constituency is 1,44,363, in Jorhat 1,59,957 and in Teok constituency 1,17,083.
