Electric detotors seized by BSF

SHILLONG, April 22: BSF apprehended three miscreants and seized 132 electric detotors from ngalbibra area near Jadi market, South Garo Hills district.

The seizure took place barely twelve hours after a police team was ambushed by suspected GNLA militants near glabibra. The Tuesday night ambush left three policemen and two civilian injured.

Informing about the seizure, a BSF source said that BSF party deployed at Coal India complex at Jadi, while patrolling the area, noticed some suspicious movement of three persons with one bag. When they were frisked, five packets containing 132 electric detotors were recovered from a bag.

Seized items and apprehended miscreant were handed over to department concerned for further legal action.
