Hojai, April 21: A jumbo died at Kheroni under southern Ranger division of West Karbi Anglong on Tuesday. This morning, at Maimaru village an injured elephant was seen. The local people informed Dhansing Terang, Ranger of Kheroni. After a long battle for life, the elephant died. The forest department officials reached the spot after the elephant died.
