Elephants go on rampage

TAMULPUR, June 20: A herd of wild elephants from the adjacent forest area in Bhutan entered human habitation and damaged several houses and crops in Mahendra gar, Bimala gar and North Guabari village in grijuli area in Baksa district along Indo-Bhutan border last night. There was, however, no loss of life. Incidents of elephants attacks in the district are on the rise.
