Eleven athletes from Bosnia and Herzegovi to compete in Rio

Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovi) July 26: Eleven athletes from Bosnia and Herzegovi (BiH) will compete in the 31st Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, the largest squad the country has ever dispatched for any Olympics so far, local media reported on Tuesday.

The Minister of Civil Affairs of BiH Adil Osmanovic received members of the BiH Olympic team here and hoped that they will successfully and proudly represent BiH at the Olympic Games and come back from Rio with medals, reports Xinhua. For the first time, BiH is going to the Olympics with great ambitions, including a hope for a medal, with the best bet on athlete Amela Tuka and judoka Larisa Ceric.

The 24-member BiH Olympic delegation will depart for Rio on Sunday. IANS
