Eminent teacher Pur Bhuyan passes away

TEZPUR, May 5: Social activist and the Headmaster of Jamuguri High School in Sonitpur district, Pur Bhuyan passed away on Monday afternoon at Guwahati Medical College Hospital (GMCH) due to kidney failure.  He was 57. A bachelor Bhuyan, who was actively involved in the teachers movement in Sonitpur district, is survived by his brothers and a host of relatives and well wishers.  As per his wish, his body was today handed over to  Tezpur Medical College Hospital for medical research. The Ellora Vigyan Mancha has expressed deep condolence over the demise of Bhuyan.
