Employee suspended for graft

GOLAGHAT (Dhekial), Jan 24: On Wednesday, the Inspector of Schools suspended a grade IV employee, Tankeswar Pathori for allegedly taking bribe for providing job in the Junior Assistant post under the office from a candidate. According to source, the Assam Government conducted an interview to fill up vacant posts of Junior Assistant in various schools under the office of the Inspector of Schools, Golaghat. The employee Tankeswar Pathori allegedly collected money Rs. 3.50 lakh from the candidates by assuring them to give jobs in the Junior Assistant post. Inspector of Schools Hiren Gogoi issued an order of suspension against Pathori for violating the rule of the Assam Services Discipliry & (Appeal) Rule, 1964.
