EMT team visits Shanti Bhawan

Shillong, April 6: To commemorate EMT Day, GVK EMRI Meghalaya, involved the EMTs ( Emergency Medical Technicians) in conducting social responsibility activity in one of the Houses of Mother Teresa, Shanti Bhawan, which is a shelter for the homelessas well as the physically crippled, visually impaired and mentally ill.

The GVK EMRI team interacted with them and spent quality time with the inmates. On request, there was checking of BP and other minor health issues. There was recreatiol activity and distribution of medicines provided by the Health department of Meghalaya and also distribution of scks and sweets. This has been stated in a press release.
