England’s Oxlade-Chamberlain will miss WC

London, April 26: Liverpool FC midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will miss the remainder of his club season and also be unavailable to play for England in the World Cup due to a knee-ligament injury, the English Premier League (EPL) outfit have announced.

The 24-year-old sustained the injury after an attempted challenge on AS Roma defender Aleksandar Kolarov in the 18th minute of Tuesday night’s Champions League semi-final first leg at Anfield stadium, the club added. IANS
