New Delhi, April 30: Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar on Thursday said his top priority is to enhance India’s military capabilities with due focus on modernisation of the armed forces. High serviceability levels of equipment and weapon systems and high morale of soldiers were necessary and these were possible with effective and optimum resource utilisation, he said while iugurating a two-day Controllers’ Conference of Defence Accounts Department. He stressed on working as an integrated whole with shared resources of data and information, specifically in areas of pension, payments, compilation and accounting preferably on real time basis.
