Itagar, Jan 27: Lok Sabha MP Ninong Ering on Monday visited fire ravaged Government Daying Ering Memorial Higher Secondary School at Pasighat in East Siang district and sanctioned Rs 10 lakh from his MP LAD fund for construction of classrooms.
Ering, who have adopted the school since last year has assured to provide all possible help to the school and provide necessary equipments as soon as possible.
While boosting up the moral of teaching faculty, Ering also requested the school authority to take precautiory measures in order to prevent from such fire incident, official sources said here today.
Meanwhile, Pasighat Municipal Council deputy chief councillor Kaling Darang highlighted the MP on immediate requirements of classrooms and equipments for the students. Later, PMC chief councilor Denong Tamuk doted 20 numbers of chairs and a computer set on behalf of the council to the school, the sources added.
