Ering urges people to work as team for development

Itagar, Nov 26: Lok Sabha MP from Aruchal Pradesh Ninong Ering

has urged all the line departments, panchayat and public leaders to work

as a team for all round development.

Presiding over the District Development Co–ordition and Monitoring

Committee Meeting at Roing in Lower Dibang Valley district on Friday,

Ering stated that proper implementation of projects is needed for the

welfare of the general public, an official report informed here today.

He assured to take up the matter of idequate central funding under

various projects and schemes with Government on priority to provide

sufficient fund under prioritized sectors. Parliamentary Secretary (PWD)

Mutchu Mithi urged the HoDs to put forward all the issues and problems

in implementing any developmental programmes. Giving priority on

education and health, he urged the concerned departments to be proactive

in implementing any Central and State sponsored schemes.

The main purpose of the meeting was to monitor/review the progress of

all the centrally sponsored schemes in the district and to ensure that

the benefits of such schemes/programmes reached to the public, said

Deputy Commissioner Deepak Shinde. He directed PD, DRDA and DPO to

include MP LAD components in the next presentation.

Earlier, PD, DRDA Tage Tago gave a PowerPoint presentation on various

centrally sponsored schemes, like MGNREGA, IAY,PMAY(G), IWMP, PMKSY for

the period from July 1 to October 30 this year, the report added.
