Escaped jail inmate remains untraced

Dibrugarh, April 23: An inmate and a under trial prisoner of Dibrugarh Central Jail, Babu Kheria, who ran away when he was taken out for jail work on Friday, still remains untraced. Kheria, a murder convict hails from Tengakhat region, of Dibrugarh district. The Central Jail authority, finding no other option to trace Kheria, lodged an FIR at the Sadar Police Station on Friday. Police investigation is on.
