Ethnic cultural festival for unity planned in Dibrugarh

DIBRUGARH, April 25: In order to strengthen the bond of unity among the various ethnic communities of the State as well as the north-eastern States, the 4th Ethnic Cultural Festival will be held at Chowkidinghi play ground in November this year. To make the festival a grand success, the president of Dibrugarh District Committee of Tai Ahom Yuba Parishad, Deep Jyoti Duwara, assistant general secretary of All Assam Mottock Yuba Chatra Sanmmilan, Ranjit Gohain, vice-president of Sonowal Kachari Students’ Union, Devanda Cheleng, general secretary of District Asom Chah Jajati Chatra Xantha, Promode Barla and all conveners of the festival, have convened a public meeting at Laxmith Bezbaruah Bhavan on Sunday.
