Event Magement group to run Bordoloi trophy

GUWAHATI, May 6: With an aim to bring back the lost glory of Bordoloi trophy, Gauhati Sports Association has decided to hand over the competition to an Event Magement group . The General body of the Gauhati Sports Association gave green sigl to this decision in its Annual General Meeting which was held today.. As per the decision, the group, med Assam Sports Magement Group, will host the tourment for the next five years and in return they will pay Rs 12.5 lakh to Gauhati Sports Association every year. It may be mentioned here that Assam Government also announced fincial aid to revive the Bordoloi trophy recently.
