Everesters felicitated

GUWAHATI, June 13: Directorate of Sports and Youth Welfare Department today felicitated four state climbers who conquered Everest recently. The felicitation function was held at the Deshbhakta Tarun Ram Phukan indoor stadium which was attended by new Sports Minister of the state ba Kumar Doley as the chief guest. It may be mentioned here that three members of  Assam Mountaineering Association- nda Dulal Das, Khorsing Terang and Henry David Teran successfully scaled Everest recently. Another Assamese climber ba Phukan too was successful to climb the world’s highest peak last month. All four climbers along with the other members of the Assam Mountaineering Association were felicitated in today’s function.
