EVM testing started in Golaghat

GOLAGHAT, Dec 29: Golaghat district administration has been preparing for the upcoming assembly elections in 2016. As part of the preparation, first session of Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) testing concluded on Tuesday at the Deputy Commissioner’s office. In a press release, DIPRO, Golaghat stated that EVM testing was done under the guidance of District Election Officer Jitu Kumar Das. After examining the EVM control unit, the election officer said that the district administration would proceed in all the matters related to the Assembly elections.
